What helps: Treat AI like process improvement, not magic. Document early results, yes, but also set up checkpoints to reassess whether gains hold up after the novelty wears off.

Myth #3: The tech is the hard part.

Everyone talks about integrations, APIs, and training data. But for most small teams, that’s not where things break down.

Someone has to connect the dots between operations, tools, and outcomes. That person doesn’t need to be an AI expert, they need to understand how work gets done.
