One of the things that has always frustrated me is the requirement to upload documents into ChatGPT or your AI platform of choice one by one. Sure you can setup a project and keep several files grouped together, but it still required knowing what you wanted or needed for the conversation.

Not anymore!

If you're using ChatGPT Teams and Google Workspace, a powerful new integration is rolling out called Internal Knowledge. This feature allows you to connect your Google Drive directly to ChatGPT, giving it live, searchable access to everything you have access to without uploading anything manually.

From a security standpoint, it’s solid. ChatGPT can only see what you can, so it stays within the boundaries of your permissions. But the real benefit is in how you can now use it.

And... you don’t need a perfectly structured Google Drive for this to work either. Even if your files are scattered or loosely organised, ChatGPT can still search across everything you have access to and surface the right information based on your question. It’s designed to work with how things actually are, not just how they should be.

This isn't just convenience. It fundamentally changes how you can work with AI. Instead of feeding it documents, you just ask questions. The context is already there.

So if you’ve got access to ChatGPT Teams and your organisation uses Google Workspace, turn this on. It’s a small setup that unlocks a massive leap forward in day to day AI use.
